The 2015 China-U.S. Private Investment Summit brought together Chinese investor delegates with U.S. project sponsors, policy makers, entrepreneurs, trade associations, economic development groups, and professional service firms to help build stronger relationships.  Greenberg Traurig’s Laura Reiff moderated the Insider’s Briefing – EB-5 Immigration Investment Trends Panel.  The panel discussed the Chinese investment immigration market (EB-5) and the key trends affecting the U.S. value chain.  The panelists also examined shifts in the EB-5 market and models for growth.  Highlighted were the good and bad models for Regional Center and Direct Investment projects, insight on future opportunities, and best practices.

Later in the evening, guests of the summit attended a dinner where President William Jefferson Clinton was the keynote speaker.  President Clinton spoke about the evolving China-U.S. relationship within the context of globalization and the importance of entrepreneurship in supporting social development. The President’s remarks related to experiences during his presidency as well as continuing initiatives through the Clinton Foundation.
